Let the acronyms begin!

Ok, so the first two photos were of my view all week, and the last one is from my own back porch this morning- not too shabby! We arrived back home yesterday from a very long awaited family vacation in the beautiful mountains (more pics to come, but I was enjoying my view/alone time this morning while the hubs got a haircut and the girls were tagging along and thought I'd share)!

Great news this week from China and our agency!  We received our PA (pre-approval) for ADB, our dossier made it's way back from the US Consulate in Houston, and we will be DTC (Dossier To China) this coming Monday! Now, we await our LID (Log In Date) and LOA (Letter Of Approval)... and then some more acronyms- LOL!!!!

My heart is very full right now. Praying through so many things and grateful for about as many leaves (and beyond!) you can see in these photos. Can't even explain God's faithfulness. Thankful.

Such a privilege to share thoughts, prayers and encouragement to/with my girls and hubby- in times of joy, in times of unknowns, in times of struggle. Love my family and blessed beyond measure. God continues to prune all of us in so many different ways but using such similar experiences- same book, different chapter (?). Different ages. Different genders. Different backgrounds. Different perspectives.  Different countries. Same family. Same Insecurities. Same fears. Same Hope. Same Creator. Same Holy Spirit....moving in us all.  As we said when we lived in Vietnam- "same same but different!"

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."  Romans 15:13

Interesting that I've been reading in Romans lately...today I'm reading about being "grafted in" (chapter 11). Guess I'm in reflective mode but how neat to be reading about that at this moment and experiences of this week in God's beautiful world (great parallel)! I also told David just yesterday how I loved getting an email from my bible study group from overseas- loooove that God saw fit to place us "there" for such a time as this (that) and our minds and hearts are outside the common "box"- what a blessing.  How much richer our lives have been!

Ok...enough deep thoughts with Christa ;-)
