Day 1- more pics
The entire team is together now! We just drove through Bucharest. FABULOUS architecture- so pretty! We are in the van... with wifi. We just saw some snow. This Texas born girl thought it looked like cotton-lol.

We made it here!
We made it here- I don't take those words for granted- not when flying stand-by...out of the country! Here are a few more answered prayers as I am wide awake with Abigail snoozing next to me: healing of my "mysterious" back issue just prior days to us leaving, discernment with what day/times to travel, childcare for Audrey An and Chan, David's schedule and employment who gives us the opportunity...and a husband who us more than willing for us to go, two seats opening on second leg of trip, figuring out a way (not as convenie
nt as I'd like!) to upload pics to blog...just a few answers. The shear opportunity to be on a mission trip like this with my daughter is a many year dream fulfilled plus the fact that I am physically able is, well...just pure thankfulness! we meet the rest of the team later today upon their flight arrival then drive severalmhourstomoyrdestination for the week.

Thanksgiving 2016
Thanksgiving 2016
It's been another year since I've blogged. Wow. This week the kids were off school for the Thanksgiving break, but my Abigail had the pleasure of working on school through her break! Why, might you ask? We left today for a 10 day mission trip, and when she comes back she'll be going into exam week. She did great though. She didn't complain one time and completed everything (I think!).
I started this post about 5am eastern on Sunday because I couldn't sleep due to a zillion last minute details that kept running through my mind plus I couldn't breathe! Breathing is a good thing, ya know. Abigail started last weekend with the sinus crud, then she passed the torched to yours truly. Mine is lingering...it must like me!
Anyway, I'm not even sure if this will post or how often I'd like to post due to limited wifi access, but I'm going to try! It's 10:30pm by the clock I started on this am, but I think technically it's 4:30am wherever we are in he middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
Here are a few pics
of our Thanksgiving Day before I began Abigail and my big Romanian adventure! The kids and I surprised David between flights. The crews were served a turkey meal, and after his quick 45 on the ground, we had Thanksgiving lunch at TGI Fridays- mozzarella sticks and hot wings! We sat at the windows and were determined to make the baggage workers smile and wave as they drove past us. We "might" have beat on the windows, waved our hands, etc to make that happen. Most of them were great sports and waved back. THANK YOU to all the men and women who have to work on holidays so we CAN have our mozzarella sticks and so passengers CAN get to their friends and family...you rock (but my hubby rocks the most!)!
